Ownership isn't essential, enthusiasm is!

Coronado Open Track
Thursday September 25th
sponsored by the Porsche Club

It will be run as a DE event (no passing in corners) and is open to non-Porsches. Now is the time to apply as it will fill up fast. Below are instructions on how to apply. I warn you that it is not easy, but it will be worth it. Price is $225. There will probably be 4-5 run groups with 25 -30 cars in a group, similar to COCOA, but I'm not in charge so I can't be sure how Porsche is going to run it.

The Porsche club has rented the track at Coronado for the Thursday before the race weekend. They are putting on a DE event, which is a controlled open track with point by passing only. They are opening it up to non-Porsches and would like to get some of the vintage cars. You do not need to be member of the Porsche club, but you do have to register on line at:

http://motorsportreg.com

You will have to register for the site . Once your are at the login page follow the link to register. Then click on the link below to go to the page for the Thursday tack day.

When registering for the track day it will ask you questions that may not apply, leave them blank, (like sponsor, class, etc.) If you needed to answer something it will re ask the question. On the final page there is a window at the bottom of the form that you can use to briefly tell the event person of your experience.

It is a somewhat tedious experience, but mucking through the site is the only way to register.

Good Luck,
