This is Ed Archer and his 1915 Ford. He had an amazing story to tell. There wasn't a trailer in his paddock spot. We asked him about that and, as he lives Hayward, he drove the car there with his wife, who is the same age, for the 10 days in Monterey. I commented that his story was pretty amazing and he said it was nothing. He arrived in Hayward from Nebraska only 3 days before the Monterey trip. He and his wife spent a 3 week vacation driving to Nebraska to participate in a 1000 mile vintage rally, and then driving back, all in this car. It was about a 4000 mile trip in three weeks in a 1915 Ford that had a top end of about 60 MPH. I asked how he carried the luggage, and he said then traveled light. This guy is my hero.
